A new feature in World Book geared to the Ontario curriculum. In Educators' Tools, you can find articles in the encyclopedia for different strands and grades correlated to the Ontario curriculum.
For example, for grade 7 science:
"STRAND ON.4. Structures and Mechanisms: Structural Strength and Stability.
Overall Expectation 4.1.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of the relationship between the effectiveness of structural forms and the forces that act on and within them."
This leads to two articles, on bridges and on the seven wonders of the ancient world.
And Ontario Standards: "Science - Grade 73.1. - Students will demonstrate understanding that heat is a result of molecular motion" retrieves three articles, on fire, heat and on physics.
