OneZone wifi

Today while driving in downtown Toronto with a laptop computer, I had a look at the free services available on OneZone, the Toronto Hydro Telecom internet service. Full service is free until mid-April but requires a login and password (request it from the OneZone web page and receive the password through a text message to your cellphone).

However there are some free sites you can go to without logging in - the TTC, the city (Toronto.ca), Toronto Tourism, the provincial transportation ministry (mto.gov.on.ca), the Toronto Board of Trade, the United Way, and Toronto Hydro.
