Tagging just got better!

LibraryThing has introduced tagmash - basically searching for more than one tag (or keyword) at once. In Boolean terms, it would be an "and" search. If you searched for alcohol and women, both terms must be present to be retrieved. A keywords search in Dynix would be similar to a tagmash.

LibraryThing is a neat way to organize your library or to find reading recommendations.

Tagging is used for photos in Flickr as well as many other sites. Even library catalogues have started using them. Check this:
Pride and Prejudice
Scroll to the bottom to find the clickable tags.

Unfortunately, they aren't using tagmash. A search for "regency" and "classic fiction" - two tags used for Pride and Prejudice - retrieves a nice list in LibraryThing:

The list of top books includes Emma, Vanity Fair and more Austen.
