A patron question today reminded me of TPL's recent database acquisition (currently not available for home access) of the Canadian Directory to Foundations and Corporations. This is a very comprehensive survey of grant-making organizations located in Canada or with a history of making grants to organizations in Canada.
The search screen is several pages long and intimidating option-filled, but allows extremely focused searching. Worth familiarizing yourself with--it's a good resource for answering questions about getting funding/grants/support for an artistic or community project.
