Quick GroupWise Mail Lists

Most new workers in a branch usually need to compile their own groups or mailing lists in GroupWise for the branch staff as well as the various committees and teams they have joined. Most of the time this means compiling your own list: searching for a name, THEN dragging it into the group, THEN searching for the next name and repeating the process until the list can FINALLY be saved.

But you can save time by copying a mailing list that has been sent to you.

Just open an email that has been sent to you. Click Reply to all (Sender and recipients) then click OK. Then click the Address buton on the right hand side.

Hurrah! You now have the list of names, including the original sender, which you can now save as a group in your own account under a name of your choice.

Remember to close the email if you do not actually want to send a letter to the group right away.

I can't believe I've been using GroupWise all these years and never knew that. Love the LHS blog!
